I use YumEarth Candy Canes, so there is no red dye #3 or #40, only natural food coloring. These are fairly large cookies, soft and gooey when warmed up a little bit, and soo good! They don't require refrigeration. You may keep them on the shelf in an air-tight container, or you may refrigerate or freeze them for longer freshness.
